Mount
Melleray Scout Activity and Sport Centre has the facilites
for both indoor and outdoor accomodation and all meals are
provided. The centre has indoor dormitory accommodation for
200 with seperate leader accommodation as well as a fully
serviced camping field.
Indoor Accommodation
The accommodation is divided into four separate areas; Tara
(2 rooms with 20 beds in each and separate leader room),
Eammonn Maca (4 rooms with 14 beds in each and separate
leader room), Cashil (3 rooms
with 14 beds and leaders room) and Deise
(2 rooms with 14 beds and seperate leader room).

Camping
Mount Melleray has one camping field. A lighted walk way leads
you to modern toilet and shower facility and a good supply of
wood is available if you want to have wood fires. There is a
wet weather shelter, which is available for campers, with water
taps and washing facilities at the rear. In the years that the
centre has been in existence, Scouts from all over the world
have enjoyed the facilities the centre has to offer.

Meals
Week-end Stay: All Meals are provided;
Supper Friday to Lunch on Sunday.
Limited self-catering facilities are also available. If you
would like packed lunches – which are available with 24
hours notice – for Saturday or Sunday please let us know
and we will be happy to oblige.
